Julie, a CPA with over 20 years of experience in taxation, holds master's degrees in accounting from the University of South Carolina and is licensed in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina. A former military spouse, she now lives near Angier with her husband, J.C., and their children, staying active in their church and enjoying family time outdoors.
Roger Lush
Secretary
Roger Lush, a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant with a 20-year career, served in multiple global operations and earned numerous military honors, including the Bronze de Fleury Medal and Sergeant Audie Murphy Club membership. Now living in Raleigh, NC, he has transitioned to corporate recruiting and business development while remaining active in his community and veteran organizations.
Rich Brown

COL (Retired) Richard Brown has lived in Fuquay-Varina for 16 years. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve in 2020 after 33 years of service, including deployments to Iraq and Kuwait. His awards include the Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, and the Combat Action Badge.
Richard currently works as a Force Protection Specialist at Fort Bragg. He also serves with Run The Quay and as staging director for the Fuquay-Varina Christmas Parade. He and his wife, Lisa, have three children.
Lauren McAndrew
Vice ChairĀ
Lauren, an attorney specializing in complex civil litigation, personal injury, and nursing home negligence, has argued cases in North Carolina Superior Courts and the Court of Appeals. A UNC-Chapel Hill and Campbell Law graduate, she lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, an Army Special Forces veteran, and their two sons while actively serving on multiple legal and advocacy boards.
Jennifer Chandler
Treasurer
Jennifer Chandler grew up in Fayetteville and graduated summa cum laude from Methodist University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry.
Jennifer and her husband, Jim, have lived in Fuquay-Varina since 1999 and have three children. She currently cares for her elderly parents while remaining active in community service and volunteer leadership.
