Please join us for our 16th Annual Tee Off For The Troops Golf Classic this fall. As a result of your generosity over the years, we’ve been able to directly assist over 131,000 Veterans, servicemembers, and their families. Our golf classic is currently our only major fundraiser at Military Missions In Action.

 

Resources raised from Tee Off For The Troops (TOFT) historically represent about 20% of our yearly operating budget. In 2023, we raised $130,588.00 (net) which aided us in assisting 4,639 Veterans and their family members. While we’re proud to serve so many, cost have gone up significantly and each furniture delivery we make through our Homes For Healing program now costs us $1,714.25.

 

Did you know, on average, we spend $1,089.66 per ramp we install for a disabled Veteran? Additionally, our Homes for Healing program that furnishes the homes of formerly unhoused Veterans runs us $1,714.25 per delivery. To date, we’ve built nearly a dozen ramps and made over 100 furniture deliveries. We are well on our way to shattering previous records for the number of projects served by each program.

 

Additionally, we recently started a ride share service specifically for Veterans so that they can get to and from their appointments. We’ve built a mobile application that allows the Veteran a layer of anonymity when requesting a ride. Veterans are very prideful, and we did not want them to miss an appointment due to the shame of having to ask for assistance. If we keep veterans well, we keep them housed; housed veterans are healthier and live better lives. This is another program we are able to offer as a direct result of your support.
