How to get screened for ADHD in Cambridge

Hi everyone, does anyone have experience getting tested for ADHD? I'm 27 and I've always thought I was just scatterbrained, but the further away I get, the harder it is to keep my attention. I work remotely, but due to constant procrastination all deadlines get derailed. Decided to get checked but don't know where to start. The NHS is too long to wait and there's not much information about private clinics. How do you get diagnosed in general? Is it tests or something else? It would be interesting to hear from real life experience.

I've been through it too! I have a similar situation: since childhood I thought I was just lazy, but then I realized that's not the case. I was assessed here - private adhd assessment cambridge, which seemed to me to be the quickest option. First I filled out a questionnaire, then I had a meeting with a doctor where they discussed my life, studies, work. Then tests for attention and memory. Bottom line: adhd was confirmed and recommendations were made. The most important thing is to realize that this is not a verdict, but just a peculiarity. If you have any questions, ask!
